What happens when the printer is being used by another computer?
SpoolBox starts printing as soon as a PC sends print data. Any subsequent print job from the other PC is spooled by the Windows Print Manager and sent to the printer ten seconds before the previous print job is finished.

In the 1 MB version, all three PCs can spool to the SpoolBox buffer at the same time. Documents are printed in the order in which they are spooled.

When do I need the 1 Mbyte memory?
For fast PCs running Windows, the benefit of a buffer memory is limited – the Print Manager can perform this task just as efficiently. The memory is useful especially with slow computers or pure DOS applications.

Can I connect several SpoolBox units in series for printer sharing with more than two PCs?
In principle, you can cascade any number of boxes, but devices not connected directly to the printer should have their own power supply.
