With AdderLink, PCs, servers and even whole server groups can be operated and managed at a distance of up to 200 metres through just a single CAT5 cable. Even at maximum length, the screen display quality is impressive at resolutions up to 1600 x 1280 pixels. AdderLink works with all common PCs, keyboards, mice and monitors, both PC- and RS6000-based. Password protection prevents unauthorized access to remote computers. Also available is a serial interface (V.24/RS232).
AdderLink Silver has the same functions as AdderLink, but features additional ports for a further local PC on the user side and an additional operator unit on the server side for maximum convenience and flexibility.
AdderLink Gold has the same features as AdderLink Silver with added transmission capability for stereo audio- and microphone signals.
Its sophisticated technology, reliability, interference immunity and its robust metal housing make the AdderLink series the ideal choice for demanding server applications and for industrial use in adverse environmental conditions.

Perfect addition
AdderLink is also ideally suited for remotely accessing all types of KVM switches, including other makes. AdderLink supports the full range of functions of the SmartView Pro units, including their cascading capability. The SmartView xPro series devices already have one or two built-in AdderLink ports, so that only the AdderLink receiver part is needed.
Two examples for the wide range of possible applications
The left part of the illustration shows a simple application with AdderLink. Even here, a KVM switch (for example SmartView or SmartView xPro) could be included on the server side.
The right section of the illustration shows a more complex application with AdderLink Gold. The remote operator station (at the bottom of the picture) can access both its local base unit and the remote servers, while the additional operator station on the server side provides local access. The audio links are simplified for clarity. |
