LEVUE50 – KVM and USB Extenders

With LEVUE, you can operate PCs from a remote terminal at distances up to 50 metres. You can connect workstations – including USB devices such as printers, card readers, memory sticks, external hard drives and cameras – using standard CAT5 cable. Screen resolution is outstanding. Optionally – with a second CAT 5 cable – you can connect a second monitor and stereo audio (providing near-CD-quality sound) and a serial V.24 interface.

All versions allow the connection of a local workstation with one or two monitors.

USB

LEVUE also provides a universal USB extension. Through the built-in, console-end 4-port hub, you can connect other USB devices in addition to mouse and keyboard, such as USB sticks or cameras. Additional hubs can be located at up to 40 metres distance. LEVUE is fully compatible with USB 2.0, with the performance of USB 1.1.

Local terminal

Through an additional video output a local terminal can be connected (provided the PC supports two keyboards and mice). The second mouse and keyboard are connected directly to the PC.

Image quality

LEVUE supplies a superior image quality with resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 at 75 Hz. At a reduced cable length, even higher resolutions are possible. The image quality can be further increased though matching to the used CATX cable type. With DDC emulation, LEVUE also supports problematic graphic cards that would not normally work without DDC or provide the wrong resolution.
